La muestra que se requiere es el l\u00edquido amni\u00f3tico el cual contiene las c\u00e9lulas del feto que ser\u00e1n analizadas para realizar la comparaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica con el presunto padre biol\u00f3gico. A la madre biol\u00f3gica y al presunto padre biol\u00f3gico se le tomar\u00e1 muestra de hisopado bucal. La amniocentesis es un Procedimiento invasivo intrauterino bastante seguro, sin embargo, no est\u00e1 exento de complicaciones. La toma de muestra puede ser con su m\u00e9dico tratante o en todo caso nosotros la derivamos con un especialista para que pueda tener todos los cuidados, todo este procedimiento se realiza bajo gu\u00eda ecogr\u00e1fica. Tambi\u00e9n es importante que la madre no haya recibido una transfusi\u00f3n de sangre en los meses anteriores al embarazo. En la muestra de sangre de la madre se encuentra c\u00e9lulas del feto, a mayores semanas de gestaci\u00f3n aumenta la cantidad de c\u00e9lulas del feto en la madre. La prueba de paternidad no invasiva es la mejor opci\u00f3n para evitar el da\u00f1o fetal y riesgo de un aborto accidental. Este tipo de prueba no implica ning\u00fan riesgo para el feto o la madre, ya que no requieren una muestra del l\u00edquido amni\u00f3tico o intervenci\u00f3n en el \u00fatero de la madre.
